Appreciation Vs. Affection

It's never a good idea to mix appreciation and affection.

To preserve respect, don't be loved too greatly.
Love takes more liberties than hatred.
Affection and veneration do not mix.
Be neither very feared nor very loved.
Love leads to familiarity, casts out esteem.
Therefore...
Be loved admiringly than affectionately.
I've realized indeed,
That there is a difference...
